In today's challenging economy, the capital improvement dollars are tight due to federal, state and municipal budgets. With regulatory deadlines and limited municipal budgets, a trend in the public sector in the Water-Waste Water industry to capture the maximum return for the dollars invested appears to be leading to options such as Design-Build as a serious consideration. Design-Build is a project delivery method that can provide several benefits including single source responsibility for both the design and construction as well as focus on lowest life cycle costs.
