My Bookmarks & Notes
Description: Your library, bookmarks and notes
NOTE: You must be logged in to create Bookmarks and Notes.
    To highlight text, draw your cursor over the text you wish to bookmark. The Bookmark & Notes/ Cite pop-up box will appear on the screen.
    Select “Bookmark & Notes.”
    Add a note and choose your preferred highlight color.
    Select “Save.”
To view all the Bookmark & Notes you have made, choose the Bookmark & Notes section by clicking on your profile drop down menu.
Your Bookmark & Notes can be organized into your own personal folder system. You can create your own folders using the prompts along the left side of the page. To move or copy you bookmarked content to a folder, select the bookmark and then click on the "Select Actions" dropdown. You can then select either "Move" or Copy". You will be prompted to select the folder to which you want to move or copy the bookmark.
Cite text
We provide automated citation options in Web (metadata only), Chicago, and MLA formats. The citations provide links to the character level text highlighted in the chapter, so that citations can be accurately represented in bibliographies and other references.
    To cite text, draw your cursor over the text you wish to cite. The Cite option will appear in a pop-up box on the screen.
    Select “Cite this.”
    Choose the format for the citation you would like to create.
    Select citation text and copy to your preferred document format.
Chapters can be cited by selecting the Cite button from the online reader toolbar in the bottom right of the page.
Print
To print the chapter, select the View button from the online reader toolbar in the top right of the page. The chapter will display in a page view within your browser for optimal printing. Please note that only single chapters are permitted to be printed per Authorized User. Users are not permitted to share the items printed from Access Water with others. Save to My Library
For easy access back to the chapter, choose the "Library" button at the top right of online reader toolbar and then select “Add to Library”. All books, chapters, conference papers, fact sheets, technical reports and articles can be reviewed by logging in and selecting the My Library from you profile drop down in the top navigation bar.
Text to speech
To have the read aloud feature enabled, download the Plug In that is available on the Chrome, Edge and Firefox browsers. Once installed, the platform will playback the page you are on with play and pause buttons.
