WEF Publishing
Publishing has been a central pillar of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) since the organization’s founding in 1928, and we continue to produce a wide range of content to serve the water sector. WEF offers a variety of technical publications, including our flagship Manuals of Practice, Design of Water Resource Recovery Facilities and Operation of Water Resource Recovery Facilities. WEF also publishes training and education titles, such as the Wastewater Treatment Fundamentals series, as well as Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. (Standard Methods is published in partnership with the American Water Works Association and the American Public Health Association).
WEF's New Academic Book Program
As part of our mission to serve the academic community and to facilitate communication between researchers and practitioners, WEF has launched a new academic book program. This program includes both titles on cutting-edge research and texts oriented toward supplemental course use and professional development. WEF’s publishing team welcomes proposals from professors, researchers, and educators interested in writing scholarly books, textbooks, or general interest titles individually or as part of a multi-author team.
