McGrath, Michael

Michael McGrath is a registered Professional Engineer and a licensed Wastewater Works operator. He holds an Masters of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and has been working in the water and wastewater field for 40 years. Mr. McGrath is a board member of the Upper Occoquan Service Authority and the Virginia Nutrient Credit Exchange Association. He is currently employed as the Director of the Wastewater Treatment Division at Fairfax County, Virginias 67 mgd Noman M Cole Pollution Control Plant. While working at the Noman M Cole Pollution Control Plant, he has introduced several initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, since compiling its first inventory in 2008
