Tim Runde has been working in the wastewater treatment industry for 10 years, working for the cities of Wausau, Wisconsin and Des Moines, Iowa. He has his Professional Operator credential, Wastewater Grade 4 , Water Treatment Grade 2 , Biosolids Land Applier Class 1, and Collection System Grade 1.At the Des Moines WRA, Tims responsibilities include administering the WRA apprenticeship program, operator certification, safety training, operational procedure development, and the facilities response team. Tim received his B.S. in Soil and Waste Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and completed his apprenticeship with Des Moines Area Community College. He lives in Des Moines with his wife (Emma) and their daughter (Genevieve).
