Owen, William

Bill Owen is a professional engineer and serves as the Director of Engineering and Operations / Chief Engineer for the Multnomah County Drainage District in Portland, OR. Bill holds masters degrees in both civil engineering and business management. Over his 28-year career, Bill has worked in public and private sectors as a civil engineer involving river forecasting, sewer and stormwater design, watershed health, green infrastructure, and flood management. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family doing a variety of outdoor recreation activities, plays violin, and referees youth soccer.
