Upon arriving home from elementary school, Monica's mother asked, did you ask good questions today? The simple daily ritual made Monica realize that many questions have no answers, igniting her spark of scientific inquiry. After over 30 years as a scientist, Monica has transitioned into science communications. She has worked to bridge the gap between water professionals and the public. Her combination of industry knowledge and practical communication skills come into play as she communicates with everyone, from second graders to legislators. Her goal is to help Utah's citizens appreciate the science and engineering required for that clean drink of water.
